The Wimbum Canada (WICA) Foundation has made a generous donation of school supplies to primary school children in several villages in Mbumland, Donga Mantung Division.
The consignment, distributed on December 3rd, 2025, included essential items such as uniforms, books, school bags, pens, and pencils. Beneficiary villages included Binjeng, Bih, and Saah, with more villages expected to receive support soon.
WICA, a charitable organization founded by Wimbum diasporans in Canada, aims to address development challenges in Wimbumland (Nkambe and Ndu Subdivisions) and support vulnerable populations.
Local traditional and school authorities have praised the WICA Foundation for their efforts, with promises of continued support. The initiative has been hailed as a model for other Wimbum elites and organizations to follow.
The WICA Advisory Committee in Mbumland is credited with facilitating the successful distribution of the donated items.
