On March 8, 2026, members of the WICA Western Chapter joined the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day, a moment to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of women in our families, communities, and society.
In Edmonton, this year’s celebration carried a particularly special touch. During the chapter meeting held the day before, our daughters Solange and Emmanuella prepared thoughtful gifts for all the women present at the gathering. Their kind gesture brought smiles to everyone in attendance and added a warm and meaningful moment to the occasion.
We are extremely grateful for their initiative and would like to commend their thoughtfulness and generosity. Acts like these remind us of the importance of appreciation, respect, and unity within our community.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, WICA Western continues to recognize the strength, dedication, and leadership of women who play such an important role in building and sustaining our community.
